Historic Meeting at Parliament: ICICI Bank Ex-Employees Meet Shri Rahul Gandhi
On 28th March 2025, a major step forward was taken in the ongoing struggle for justice by a group of former ICICI Bank employees. With the support and coordination of the All India Professionals’ Congress (AIPC), a delegation representing affected ex-employees met Shri Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition, at the Parliament of India.
The 40-minute meeting was both constructive and emotionally resonant. The delegation presented firsthand accounts and well-documented evidence of systemic harassment, unethical workplace practices, and the silencing of internal dissent within ICICI Bank. Their aim: to bring national attention to the unchecked injustices faced by employees who dared to speak up.
Shri Rahul Gandhi gave the group his full attention, listening with seriousness and empathy. He acknowledged the gravity of their experiences and assured them that their voices had been heard. Most importantly, he offered a clear and strong commitment: that justice will be pursued, and institutional action would be sought to address these long-standing issues.
This meeting represents a turning point — a moment where the collective voice of affected professionals was not just heard, but respected at the highest level of political leadership.
